AT&T have teamed up with Walt Disney World to substantially improve Cellular Network coverage across the Walt Disney World Resort.

As the roll out of the MyMagic+ touches the experience of more and more guests each month, demand for continuous wireless coverage will soar as interactions to make reservations, and enjoy attractions to the full, become a regular part of a trip to Disney.

It’s not only the guests that need to connect.  Cast members also need to interact with the complex new systems as the new technology becomes a full part of their working day.

Not only are we now able to connect to MyMagic+ and social media from all of the street level walkways, but many of the most important closed spaces such as line wait areas, now receive great coverage from tiny AT&T transmitters, buried under the themed structures of WDW.  So whether you are a Cast Member deep underground in the Magic Kingdom’s Utilidor, or a guest just about to get onto Test Track at Epcot, your cell phone will be capable of shaking hands with the Mouse just about wherever you go!

The ‘Most Magical Place on Earth’, just probably became ‘The Most Connected Place on Earth’!
