Something amazing happened on January 4th 2014 and it made a lot of people very unhappy in the Magic Kingdom.  The Celebrate A Dream Come True parade took to the walkways of the World’s most popular theme park for the very last time at precisely 3pm.

The replacement doesn’t arrive for at least another month, as Disney pause the schedule over January, February and much of March, as the parade storage facilities are upgraded to accommodate the much taller parade floats of the fantastic new Festival of Fantasy Parade.

No doubt Disney took the decision with great pain, but the show, simply couldn’t go on while the upgrade construction was carried out.  As cast members visibly cried, numerous bewildered guests have since arrived at the Magic Kingdom expecting a big show, only to be rather let down.  Many first timers aren’t as tuned into social media and blogs as the rest of us, and their pain would have been rather intense after saving so hard for a once in a lifetime vacation!

By the looks of the regular PR releases from Disney, they are doing their best to keep everyone buzzing about what looks set to become:

The Greatest Parade On Earth!
