TNA Wrestling returns to Universal Studios
Formerly a regular event at Orlando’s Universal Studios Sound Stage 21, TNA Wrestling returns to Universal Studios from November 21st 2013.
The last TNA event at Universal’s “Impact Zone” in Soundstage 21 took place on March 7th 2013 upon the expiration of the contact between TNA and Universal.
Over the summer months, rumors had very much anticipated the return to Orlando’s entertainment hotspot and we expect that fans will be delighted by the latest announcement.
Now it does look as though wrestling is returning just along the walkway to the Sound Stage 19, located to the left of the Blue Man Theater entrance.
At the moment, the reports are that events will be recorded in front of a live audience at 7pm over three days (November 21, 22, 23 of 2013).
Although TNA will still take place around the USA, Universal will become the regular spot for the recordings and will also operate as a training base for wrestlers.
Note: n years prior to Universal’s contact with TNA, the event was held over in the Disney-MGM Studios (pre-1996).
The Live Wrestling events were not part of regular Universal park admission, but tickets were handed out free of charge near the entrance to Sound Stage 21, which is located near the Blue Man Group Studio. Access can be obtained from near the Universal Music Plaza from inside Universal Studios and from near the Sound Stage 21 door inside CityWalk.
