Timpano ChopHouse in Orlando’s Restaurant Row – Closed January 2nd 2013!
Orlando’s Restaurant Row just lost one of its best restaurants today with the unexpected closure of the Timpano Chophouse on Sand Lake Road.
An announcement was posted on the Timpano Chophouse Facebook page and Website at short notice, announcing the closure on the same day of the press release.
A purchase of the 8,000 sq ft property from Tavistock Restaurants for an undisclosed sum by Darden is sited as the cause of the closure, sparking assumptions that the closure may have been known about at some levels for some time.
The Timpano restaurants located in Fort lauderdale Rockville and Tampa are said to be unaffected by today’s events.
Serving upmarket Italian dishes and great steaks for the mid to high end markets, this charming restaurant will be a big miss for many local diners.
Darden already have experience in the area, with the popular Seasons 52 restaurant just a few hundred yards away.
