Toyota SiennaWe reported in September of 2013 that Orlando was the cheapest City in the USA for car rentals.  Well, after a summer of theme park ticket rises, parking lot increases and dining plans getting a little more expensive, there’s great news for travellers and in particular the ever growing number of vacation home renters that are heading to Orlando!

At $25, Orlando is the cheapest destination in the USA to rent a car for the day!
While prices are higher than last year’s survey, the sunny region’s tourists are able to pick a rental car up for a whopping $51 less per day than the most expensive location which was New York!

The survey does note however, that $25 is an average rate, and even lower prices can be found by searching out the best deals and travelling during the quiet seasons.
Also good news for the region is that Tampa came in as the second cheapest region at only a dollar a day more to hire a car.
