Rapunzel’s Tower Magic Kingdom’s New Restrooms Near It’s a Small World

A lot of work near Peter Pan’s Flight and It’s a Small World has turned the rather ordinary looking stroller park area into a beautifully themed rest area near the gateway between Fantasyland and Liberty Square.

Rapunzel Tower

The new area includes stroller parking, restrooms, seating areas decorative water falls, and of course that tower!

By day, the themeing is pure fairytale, inside and out, and the Tangled props are used to great effect in this most fairytale area of the Magic Kingdom.  The imagineers have gone down the enchanting rather than childish route, making this a captivating area for guests of all ages.  Beyond Cinderella’s Castle and perhaps the Haunted Mansion, this is without doubt one of the Magic Kingdom‘s most magical structures.
By night however, the lighting adds an extra sprinkle of that Pixie Dust in good measure.
A picture that will last in you memory for many years to come, and it’s just a toilet block!

People often ask “I wonder what Walt would have thought of….”
This new rest area within New Fantasyland would have definitely impressed our master of dreams.  The fact that a bunch of seats and a toilet block, hits the headlines, is testament to his principles that he leaves firmly imprinted in the minds of the Imagineers that make this all happen for us.

Will people really make a pint of heading to a restroom for a family photo?  You bet!
