Our Top Orlando Websites for Visitors and Tourists!

With so much rubbish on the web, a quick search for some guidance can often leave you in despair by badly written blogs, and ‘spam sites’ with little meaningful content.

We thought we’d jump to the rescue ‘Spiderman Style’ and offer a list of the ‘Best Orlando Websites‘ for visitors to make you happy!  Our list is totally independent and we’ve been paid nothing whatsoever to pick this sweet online bunch!

General Guides
www.totalorlando.com A wide range of topics, parks listings, park news blog, restaurants listings, tips and advice.
The site covers just about everything and offers excellent unbiased advice as a great starting point for an Orlando Vacation.  We love the park search tool, it can find any rides or attractions to suit your preferences, including by rider height, perfect for families with kids!  The Luxury Rental Homes Listed on the site are truly amazing!
visitorlando.com An excellent general guide from the official Orlando Tourism Board.  Well worth checking out.
Restaurant Guides
www.scottjosephorlando.com Scott is without doubt the most respected Orlando restaurant critic.  His style is straight forward and on the odd occasion he gets sparked up if the place is to be avoided.  Although he doesn’t just specialise in the tourist restaurants, many are covered and his experience is well worthy of a visit to his website.
www.disneyfoodblog.com As you’d imagine, the Disney Food Blog is without doubt focussed upon dining in Walt Disney World.  The reviews are informative and excellent, and are extremely real life (if that makes sense?).
The site is kept up to date incredibly well and the reviews are so much fun to read.
Theme Park Guides
blog.touringplans.com If you want to know line waits, busy days, quiet days, this is a great source of information.  Some information is free, however the best park plans and information requires a yearly subscription, but, in our opinion is well worth the $13.
www.allears.net All Ears is without doubt the most informative and devoted reference for Disney fans. Although this huge website isn’t the easiest to find your way about, the information is there and it is to be relied upon!
yesterland.com If you are a fan of the past, this amazing site by Werner Weiss will take you back in time at Walt Disney World! Fantastic detail from a very dedicated writer and researcher.
wdwnt.com Brilliant website for up to date news about Walt Disney World.  Always seems to cover the news a little faster than anyone else!
www.screamscape.com Perhaps the most complete guide to theme park rumours, this huge site is right up to date with the latest theme park news!
Themeparkinsider.com Good Theme Park Reviews & News
wdwmagic.com One of the best Walt Disney World News sites we’ve seen and an excellent WDW Forum.
www.orlandoinformer.com An excellent site with a particularly good grasp of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure news.  The new Forum is very good.
attractionsmagazine.com Great site for up to date news and a brilliant 30 minute video roundup of all of the latest Orlando attractions news.
Jungle Cruise Jokes We love the Jungle Cruise at the Magic Kingdom! Here’s the best Jungle Cruise Joke site we’ve found so far!
Disney Moms Panel The Disney Moms Panel – An official Disney site that is powered by expert moms (and dads) to create a powerful resource for your next Disney vacation.
www.thedibb.co.uk An excellent UK based forum, but don’t be put off if you are from outside the UK!
www.britguideorlando.net Again, don’t be put off by the title.  The book is also on sale from the USA Amazon site and is an incredibly good resource for a trip to Orlando, regardless of your nationality!
The site itself has little info other than how to buy the book (So Buy The Book!) but the paperback and Kindle versions have helped countless people on their way to a great vacation!
The 2014 book celebrates 20 Years of Helping Brits!
