If you are headed to Gatorland you will be stepping into history almost.
As one of Florida’s original tourist attractions, Gatorland is a fun alternative to the very commercialized large theme parks that have evolved in the last few decades in Central Florida.

Admittedly, it’s so easy to walk into Gatorland fresh from Disney and be disappointed if you are looking for a big day with lots of big thrill rides.  Gatorland is a little more ‘petting zoo’ come ‘gator sanctuary’ and that isn’t meant to put you off.

If you want to escape the crowds, slow down a lot and wander around boardwalks and enjoy the exhibits and shows of Gatorland, you certainly won’t be disappointed.
After all, where else in the world can you safely feed hundreds of one ton gators with hot dogs?

As of Sunday 1st Dec, the regular gate price increased by $2 for adults and kids, taking them to a still very reasonable $26.99 and $18.99 respectively.

Not a bad price at all for a great half day’s worth of fun at Florida’s original theme park!
