Orlando Gets Creepy – A Skeleton Museum Is Coming to I-Drive!
We all deny it, but many of us are fascinated by that complex arrangement of 206 bones, that we know of as a skeleton.
The stuff of Scooby Doo episodes, doctor’s clinics, university lecture halls and science museums will however, soon be part of every day life on International Drive Orlando!
Currently under construction, Orlando’s idrive 360 complex will bring a whole host of entertainment, dining and shopping experiences to an area of Central Florida that is currently experiencing a rising popularity amongst Orlando’s estimated 60m visitors per year.
The weird and wonderful Wizarding World of Harry Potter, is without doubt bringing more and more guests to Orlando in general, but as we’d written last year, the Diagon Alley Effect is good for business on I-Drive.
While young ‘Potter’ and friends have seen their fair share of unearthly creatures, it’s time for us mere mortals to take a an alternative look ‘inside’ many of the creatures around us in everyday life!
At the soon to open Skeletons: A Museum of Osteology guests can step inside the sharp, modern, air conditioned museum, and leave the lively bustle of the entertainments world to view, wonder and admire the beautiful complexity of 300 wonderfully prepared skeletal displays.
There’s nothing creepy here though. Nothing tasteless. Nothing to fear. It’s simply fascinating.
At $19.99 per adult and $12.99 per child, it’s not cheap, but we didn’t say that it wouldn’t be worth every cent! Take a brief moment to escape your vacation fantasies, and enjoy the magnificent wonders of the natural world, as it’s probably going to be the most talked about aspect of your next Orlando vacation!
