Universal Studios announces their next new adventure in its Orlando location!

After months of building work and speculation, mostly predicting an announcement of the arrival of the Transformers: The Ride – 3D at Sound Stage 44, it finally became official when Optimus Prime interrupted the nightly showing of Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular.

For more details about the ride, visit our Transformer: The Ride – 3D page at www.totalorlando.com

The eagerly awaited ride is set to open under an amazingly tight timeline ready for the summer of 2013 and is widely expected to be a very direct copy of Universal’s $100m attraction over in Hollywood and Singapore.

Universal has seen a fair bit of change over 2012, with the arrival of the great Despicable Me attraction, and closure of the seemingly dated JAWS attraction, whose replacement still awaits announcement despite vigorous ongoing construction work.  It would impossible for Universal to sit on this for much longer and it might be fair to expect an announcement about Harry Potter arriving in the area around the Christmas / New Year Holiday perhaps?

By the time the rumoured Harry Potter attraction opens in 2014/15, Universal will be set to tear itself away from the foot of the theme park attendance table, much to the annoyance of the SeaWorld Management team.

We will definitely miss Donkey’s Photo Finish !!
