Raglan Road a Firm Favorite

Raglan Road is one of our long standing favorite go to places!  It is simply one of those restaurants that we can 100% confidently say that we will never come away disappointed.  So often we find somewhere great, offering fabulous service and food, but then something seems to go horribly wrong and we are left disappointed.  We can honestly say since our very first visit back in 2008 we have never been let down!

Transported 4,000 Miles to Dublin

The authenticity of this fabulously themed pub is another great reason to visit.  Everything right down to the owners is Irish through and through, including the Master Chef Kevin Dundan, not to mention the actual building which was built and shipped from Ireland!

Each time I visit I am transported back to the days when I would fly from the North East of England to Dublin for a weekend with my girlfriends!  I didn’t down copious amounts of guinness honest!!

Believe us when we say, ‘this is no typical Americanized Irish Pub’!  This is the real deal!

Professional Dancers

Wether you like dance or not you will love the entertainment here, consisting of a group of Irish Dancers, they are extremely talented, even if they are a little on the loud side, it all adds to the atmosphere and the ambiance.  If you have little ones, the dancers are only too happy to have them up on stage at the end of each performance!

Now For the Important Topic – Food!

The menu has recently scaled back slightly for a lunchtime but there are still plenty of great choices with a new added daily brunch menu.

Here are a few of our all time favorites:

  • Dalkey Duo – Battered cocktail sausages with a Dalkey mustard dipping sauce.
  • Crock o’Pate – Crock of rustic chicken liver pate served with apricot chutney.
  • Lobster Club – Lobster & avocado salad, crispy pancetta, watercress & citrus herb mayonnaise.
  • Braised Be. Beef – Braised beef with calcannon mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables.

They offer a variety of menus including:

  • Brunch
  • Lunch
  • Dinner
  • Bar
  • Kids
  • Dessert
  • Gluton Free
