Fastpass+ Restrictions are rolled out at Hollywood Studios
Despite a raft of negative feedback about the Fastpass+ roll out at Epcot, Disney press ahead with a similar program at their Hollywood Studios park in Orlando.
Guests at Epcot could select 3 Fastpass+ attractions per day, one from a major attraction group and two from lesser rides and shows. This principle is also carried over into Hollywood Studios as of this week.
At Hollywood Studios, the Fastpass+ attractions are placed in the following groups:
Group 1 – Take one selection per day
- Toy Story Mania
- Rock ‘n’ RollerCoaster
- Beauty and the Beast
Group 2 – Take two selections per day
- Tower of Terror
- Lights, Motors, Action!
- Great Movie Ride
- Star Tours
- Indiana Jones
- MuppetVision 3D
- Disney Jr Live on Stage
Our advice about the new Hollywood Studios Fastpass+ restrictions would be to first decide whether you want to watch the Fantasmic night time show (it is amazing!) or whether you want to use your FP+ on either Toy Story Mania or the Rock ‘n’ RollerCoaster.
That takes care of the big three options in group 1, leaving our best tow attractions in group 2 as the Tower of Terror (if it is busy) and Star Tours (if it is busy).
