The Edison at Disney Springs Walt Disney World
Disney’s Newest Hot Spot
The Edison is Disney Spring’s latest dining venue. Fabulously themed on a 1920s electric company, just like it’s sister location in Los Angeles. Offering classic American dining, craft cocktails and a full line up of unique acts to entertain guests. We really think this long anticipated restaurant is going to be one of the most popular spots amongst Disney guests.
The restaurant is gothic styled and occupies two floors, with an impressive central staircase. Themed areas include;
- The Ember Parlour
- Telegraphy Lounge
- The Patent Office
- The Tesla Lounge
- The Radio Room
- Waterfront Patio
- The Lab
Don’t you just love how Disney theme absolutely everything?
The huge working mechanical clock is located by the entrance and can be seen from both sides of the restaurant.
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. Sunday – Wednesday
11:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. Thursday – Saturday
The restaurant is open to families throughout the daytime, however, come 10:00 pm. it becomes adults only, which here in Florida is 21+.
The menu offers shares and nibbles, burgers and bites, entrée salads, patented specialties, patented partners, 28 day-aged prime rib and sweets.
Unfortunately we are yet to sample the food, but from what we hear, it lives well up to all expectations!
The food menu is extremely varied and extensive, however, the drinks menu is even more impressive.
The menu is huge, with offerings such as; red wine, white wine, sparkling and dry wine, signature cocktails, house cocktails, mocktails, draft beers, bottled beers, seasonal beers, champagne, vodka, cider, gin, scotch, rum, tequila, cognac, absinthe, liqueurs, cordials and other spirits.
Live entertainment is nightly at 9:30 p.m. and includes contortionists, aerialists, live cabaret and DJ. Plus we expect them to add more acts over the coming months!
This is something we are really interested in. We love the Irish Dancers located at Raglan Road, therefore we are very excited to experience the entertainment here at The Edison.
Total Orlando’s Review
We are really impressed with this new offering, just when you thought Disney had covered every possibility they come up with something new and different. Like we already mentioned, we are yet to sample the food, we hope to visit again soon and provide a full review!
